CarLogger Terms of Service and Membership Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern the use of the CarLogger mobile application ("Application") developed and published by Servet Ceberut ("Developer"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to all terms and conditions of this Agreement.

1. Definitions

  • Application: CarLogger mobile application
  • User: Any individual who downloads, installs, or uses the Application
  • Account: The personal user account created by the User in the Application
  • Premium Membership: Paid subscription plan (Carlogger Unlimited)
  • Guest User: A person who uses the Application without creating an account

2. Service Description

CarLogger is a mobile application that allows users to track their vehicle expenses (fuel, maintenance, bodywork). The Application offers the following services:

  • Vehicle registration and management
  • Fuel, maintenance, and bodywork expense tracking
  • Statistics and analysis viewing
  • Community data comparison
  • Reminder creation
  • Data export (Premium)

3. Account Creation and Security

3.1. You can use the Application as a guest or with an email/Google/Apple account.

3.2. Guest user data is stored only on the device and may be lost upon device change.

3.3. You are responsible for the security of your account information. Do not share your password with third parties.

3.4. Users under 18 years of age may use the Application with parental or guardian consent.

4. Free and Premium Membership

4.1. Free Plan

  • 1 vehicle registration
  • Limited AI analysis (can be unlocked by watching ads)
  • Community data for your vehicle only
  • Contains ads

4.2. Premium Plan (Carlogger Unlimited)

  • Unlimited vehicle registration
  • Unlimited AI analysis
  • Full community data access
  • Data export (CSV, PDF)
  • Ad-free experience

4.3. Subscription Terms

4.3.1. Premium membership is offered as monthly or annual subscription.

4.3.2. Payment is charged through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account.

4.3.3. Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4.3.4. Subscription management and cancellation is done through your device's app store settings.

5. Payment and Refunds

5.1. All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The Developer does not receive direct payment.

5.2. Refund requests are handled through the platform where the purchase was made:

5.3. Refund policies are subject to Apple and Google's own policies.

5.4. If a free trial period is offered, the subscription automatically starts at the end of the trial period.

  • Apple: App Store > Account > Purchase History > Request Refund or reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Google: Google Play Store > Account > Order History > Request Refund

6. User Obligations

The User agrees to comply with the following:

6.1. Use the Application only for legal purposes

6.2. Not enter false, misleading, or fraudulent information

6.3. Avoid actions that would compromise the security of the Application

6.4. Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or modify the Application

6.5. Not gain unauthorized access to other users' data

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1. All intellectual property rights in the Application and its content belong to the Developer.

7.2. The User has the right to use the Application, and this right is non-transferable and non-exclusive.

7.3. Personal data and vehicle information entered by the User belong to the User.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. The Application is provided "as is". The Developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8.2. AI analyses and community data provided through the Application are for informational purposes and do not constitute professional advice.

8.3. The Developer is not responsible for the accuracy of data entered by users.

8.4. The Developer cannot be held responsible for disruptions arising from third-party services (Firebase, RevenueCat, Google AdMob).

8.5. The Developer is not responsible for data lost by guest users due to device change or application deletion.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

9.1. The Developer may suspend or terminate accounts of users who violate this Agreement.

9.2. The User may terminate their use of the Application by deleting their account at any time.

9.3. When an account is terminated, any active subscription continues until the end of the current period but is not renewed.

10. Changes

10.1. The Developer reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time.

10.2. Significant changes will be announced to users via in-app notification.

10.3. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

11.1. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.

11.2. Eskisehir Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes.

11.3. For consumer rights disputes, the provisions of Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 apply.
